Anthony Carnes, Safety Director, addressed the associates at our 43rd annual Christmas celebration & awards banquet.  He spoke on the importance of safety on the job sites.  There were a lot of challenges for our committee to deal with due to major changes in the industry and expanded focus within our organization. Commitment, dedication and hard work by all of our employees are necessary factors in maintaining our successful safety program. The foundation of our Safety Culture relies on the following principles:

• * Provide our employees with the necessary training and development to achieve excellent safety performance.
• * Zero injuries
• * Zero loss time accidents
• * Zero OSHA or other regulatory agency deficiencies

Carnes congratulated everyone on a job well done! He reported “Branscum/Precision EMR dropped from 0.86 to 0.80.  Not only does this lower premiums, but give us a competitive advantage in the bidding process. While 2019 was a great year, there is room for improvement. There is a lot of work to be done.
