December 2nd, Branscum Construction / Precision Erection celebrated their 40th Annual Christmas luncheon with 70 associates present. 

During our celebration David "Cobb" Mann accepted the 2016 Building for Excellence Associate of the Year Award. This award is a very serious and honorable recognition of an associate's overall performance. Each year all associates submit a nominee for the Associate of the Year based on their Loyalty, Attitude, Safety, Ability, and Quality of Work.  Mann is a role model and leader to all of his co-workers.  He joined the Branscum Construction Team in 1994 and has worked on numerous projects over the past 22 years.  Currently, he is working on the Bank of Jamestown and the Liberty Elementary School Renovation Project.

Along with the Associate of the Year Award, there were five associates recognized as Honorable Mentions; Billy Stearns, Vernardo Valencia, Vince Johnson, Richard Bunch and Josh Branscum

During the annual gathering, service awards were presented to Sandy May for 5 years of service, Jim Rock for 10 years of services.  Vince Johnson and Juan Rodriguez for 15 years, Wayne Hopper for 20 years of service and Steve Foley received his 30-year service award.
